Bergen Insurance has saved me a ton of money and gotten me better coverage across the board on everything. After having my home. boat and auto insurance for over nearly claim free 20-years with Allstate I got fed up of never seeing anything but rate increases (unlike their advertisements to the contrary) and arbitrary and ridiculous underwriting rules (such as refusing to write a fire policy on a home that was being completely remodeled and enlarged until I first put new roof on it that would be being torn off within weeks, refusing to insure a 3500 flatbed with under my personal policy because it did not have a pick-up bed, insisting it have a commercial policy when it wasn't being used in any commercial activity, etc.) After dealing with such an expensive and inflexible 'one-size-fits-all' company with a take it or leave it attitude I've found it refreshing dealing with an independent agent that can shop for the best coverage that fits your needs at the best price. Highly recommended! I wish I'd done this 20-years ago.

I made the decision to switch insurance agents (had the same one for YEARS) and I am SO glad I did. He was SO responsive and worked hard to get us the best deal he could. He followed up on the 1st day our insurance went into effect to see if we needed anything and to make sure we received our insurance cards - I mean WHO even does that! Such amazing customer service.
